Ever seen (colleague) cardiologists play in an orchestra in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw?

This year the Netherlands Society of Cardiology is delighted with the arrival of the ESC Congress 2013 to the Netherlands and is therefore organising a unique event.

To welcome all congress delegates, the recently established Orchestra of Netherlands Cardiology will perform in the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on September 1st. Dutch cardiologists and co-workers perform music from the heart, by great composers like Grieg and Dvorak.

Benefit concert

This concert is aimed at raising awareness for CRASH (Resuscitation Course for All Students in Holland) project. With this project the Dutch Resuscitation Foundation would like to encourage as many young people from 16-19 years old to master Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED use. This way, they hope to see an increase in the number of civilian workers in the Netherlands skilled in BLS. Read more about the CRASH project on the dedicated page.
